Battery Safe Australia is authorised by PRI-SAFETY to market, white-label and sell PRI900 products in Australia under the BSA900™ brand.

Looking Ahead

Lithium-ion battery fire safety is still an evolving category in Australia. AS/NZS 1841 is an important portable extinguisher standard but it is not a dedicated lithium battery fire standard. Battery Safe Australia is pursuing the relevant available Australian standards pathway including AS/NZS 1841 alignment/certification where applicable.

Our bigger ambition is to help lead this category and support clearer Australian guidance, stronger education and the development of a dedicated lithium battery fire standard as the market matures.
